Women’s Health Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy can assist you greatly as you navigate the menopausal stages. The Menopause Centre can connect you with specialist physiotherapist Sarah Christ who is an expert in women’s health physiotherapy and can help alleviate a variety of issues including pelvic pain, pelvic floor weakness, prolapse, bladder and bowel incontinence, and lower back pain.
After assessing your needs, Sarah will design a program for you which typically includes exercises and possibly some ongoing physiotherapy treatments. The duration of your program will vary, depending on the condition being treated. However, it will help you deal more successfully with menopause-related problems, giving you a much better chance of leading an active and more satisfying life.
At the completion of your physiotherapy program, Sarah may refer you to a Bodytrack Exercise Physiology Accredited Exercise Physiologist who can support you to maintain your health and wellbeing through a program of regular physical activity.
Your doctor might refer you to see our physiotherapist, or please feel free to book yourself an appointment.
